The MRX500 series speaker systems feature the same technology as the JBL VerTec line array. JBL has developed new lightweight 400W speakers and horns specifically for the MRX500 series. The speaker cabinets were also designed specifically to reduce weight. Plywood cabinets are made in a lightweight design. The result is a more powerful and lighter speaker in the same price range as the well-established MPro series. The system turned out to be on average 25 – 30% lighter than its closest competitors.
JBL MRX525 is a system based on two 15″ speakers with an extended frequency range and a rated power of 800 W.
