Which projector is suitable for a presentation?

When ordering a projector rental service for a presentation, you should pay attention to such characteristics as the number of connectors for connection, options for mounting equipment and the focal length of the projector. Don’t forget that your choice determines how your presentation will go and whether your audience will like it.

Presentation is a popular way of presenting information. It allows you to visualize the speaker’s speech, make it more interesting and memorable, adding graphs, tables and various images. This type of report is often used in science and business. However, despite the popularity of this type of interaction with the audience, not every office and classroom is equipped with specialized projection technology. Therefore, event organizers use the service of renting a projector for presentations, which allows them to use high-quality and expensive equipment for little money. How to choose a projector suitable for a presentation, and what characteristics to pay attention to, we will consider in this article.

When choosing projection equipment, first of all, you need to pay attention to two main characteristics, such as the brightness of the light flux and image quality.

Projector luminous flux brightness

The brightness of a projector’s luminous flux is measured in ANSI lumens. The higher this indicator, the brighter and higher-quality picture the equipment will produce. However, as practice shows, it is not always necessary to opt for the most powerful and expensive model, because for a certain case a projector with an average brightness level may be suitable. The thing is that in darkened rooms, to get the perfect picture, a projector with an indicator of 800 lumens is enough. If we are talking about a very bright room or an open-air event, then when ordering a projector rental service for a presentation, choose models with an indicator of 2000 lumens or more.

In addition, the required brightness level directly depends on the number of people present at the presentation. The more listeners there are, the brighter the projector should be. So, for example, for a bright room and an audience of less than 100 people, a model with an indicator of 2000 lumens is suitable, and if there are from 100 to 200 people present in this room, then it is better to use projection equipment with a luminous flux brightness of more than 3000 lumens.

Image quality of projection equipment

If you want to get maximum image quality, you should make sure that the resolution of the projection equipment matches the resolution of the PC. There are several types of permission that are suitable for presentations:

1. SVGA 800 x 600 pixels

It is a simple and budget option. Suitable for displaying PowerPoint presentations. The disadvantages include poor detailing, in which small details are poorly visible;

2. XGA 1024 x 768 pixels

Projectors with this resolution are suitable for displaying spreadsheets and documents containing detailed information;

3. WXGA 1366 x 768 pixels and SXGA 1280 x 1024 pixels

If you plan to display drawings, medical images, or any other information that requires high detail, equipment with this resolution will not disappoint you.

If we talk about Full HD (1920×1080) and 4K (4096×2400) resolution, then these modern image standards allow you to obtain the highest possible image quality these days, so they are also suitable for presentations.
